Athens: War Museum
The Athens War Museum is the museum of the Greek Armed Forces. It is situated near Athens Centre, at the junction of Vassilis Sofias and Rizari streets – the next metro station is Evangelismos. The exhibition covers weapon artifacts and the relevant research in the history of war in all ages. The collections are focused on the Greek Army, but artifacts from other civilizations such as Ancient China and Ancient Japan are also present. The museum has short opening hours, but the admission is free!
