Prague – New Year’s Eve Fireworks
New Year fireworks over Prague lit up in the first seconds of 2012. Light show called “Prague, the mother of cities” has been fired from a pontoon on the River Vltava between “Shooter’s Island” and the Charles Bridge and lasted 15 minutes.
The firework display was in city colours – that is in red, yellow and white. Additional golden colours created a symbol reminding of the city coat of arms: three golden towers with the silver sword in the middle. The show will culminated by a great display of Prague city’s colours, red followed by yellow. The very end was white with special effects.
